Let’s start with acceleration. Three versions, each more outrageous than the last:

The Performance version does 0-60 mph in under 1.6 seconds — already top-tier supercar territory. The Thrust version adds rear-mounted cold-gas thrusters, dropping that to under 0.9 seconds. The Rocket version goes completely mad — single-seat layout, roughly ten SpaceX cold-gas thruster nozzles wrapped around the body, 0-60 in 0.59 seconds.

What does 0.59 seconds even mean? A single blink takes about 0.3 seconds. So by the time you blink twice, this car is already doing over 100 kilometers per hour.
再说悬挂。车身底部有一套风扇系统，能从车底抽空气产生负压，把车身 ” 吸 ” 在地面上。特斯拉官方说过弯横向加速度最高能到 2G——大部分量产车的轮胎抓地极限根本撑不住这个数字。更夸张的是，这车静止不动的时候也能产生下压力，把自己倒挂在坡道上。
Now the suspension. There’s a fan system underneath the chassis that sucks air from below the car to create negative pressure, literally “gluing” the car to the ground. Tesla claims cornering lateral acceleration can hit 2G — most production cars’ tires can’t even handle that number. Even more absurd: this car generates downforce while sitting perfectly still, enough to hang itself upside down on a ramp.

The cold-gas propulsion system is code-named A71, and its technology is derived directly from the attitude control thrusters on the Falcon 9 and Starship rockets.

Range got cut in half, acceleration doubled, and the delivery date slipped by eight years.
原因很简单——高压气罐和底盘抽气系统占了大量车内空间，电池包被迫缩水。你要会飞，就得在续航上妥协。这是物理定律，不是特斯拉不想。
The reason is straightforward — the high-pressure air tanks and underbody suction system eat up a massive amount of interior space, forcing the battery pack to shrink. If you want to fly, you compromise on range. That’s physics, not Tesla being lazy.

You Can Pre-Order in China — But There’s a Catch
中国官网已经开放预订，性能版意向金 33.2 万元，全额可退。美国那边 Performance 版 5 万美元订金，Thrust 版 25 万美元。火箭版不公开卖，邀请制。
Tesla China’s website has opened pre-orders — the Performance version requires a 332,000 yuan deposit, fully refundable. In the US, the Performance version demands $50,000 and the Thrust version $250,000. The Rocket version isn’t publicly available — it’s invite-only.
量产时间定在 2028 年，得州超级工厂。
Production is set for 2028 at Gigafactory Texas.

But here’s the catch — the Rocket version is “not approved for public road use.” The Performance version is street-legal, but it doesn’t have thrusters. The one you pre-order for 332,000 yuan is, strictly speaking, a very fast car that cannot fly.

The version that actually flies? You can’t buy it, and even if you could, you couldn’t drive it on the road.

So he pushed performance to the absolute limit, crammed rocket technology into a car, made it fly, hang upside down, and flip mid-air. Not for practicality — but to give human drivers one last gloriously insane farewell gift before autonomous driving takes over completely.

Is that romantic? Depends on who you ask. But at the very least, Musk made sure the word “finale” landed with maximum theatrical flair.
